The Grid represents a transformative development in Marousi, Athens, set to raise the standards of office space within the business district. This state-of-the-art office campus involves the construction of a complex featuring two C-shaped buildings. These structures are strategically designed to face each other, creating a central courtyard that forms the main hub of the site’s social and professional interactions. The complex covers a total built-up area of 61,500 sq.m, with 26,400 sq.m allocated to above-ground spaces consisting of offices and commercial areas, and 35,100 sq.m dedicated to underground facilities including parking and service areas. The design features extensive green spaces and parks, enhancing the quality of urban life for users and visitors alike.
As the facade engineering specialists, F-Nous is shaping the exterior functional aspects of The Grid. Our responsibility encompasses the implementation of the facade, ensuring optimal energy efficiency, sustainability, and integration with the building’s overall architectural vision. The facades are designed with cutting-edge materials and methodologies, focusing on durability, energy conservation, and visual impact. The Grid is designed with an ambition to achieve LEED Platinum certification, reflecting a commitment to sustainability. The facade plays a crucial role in this, incorporating advanced technologies and materials that significantly reduce the building’s energy demands and environmental impact.
